Limited Brands leaders throughout the enterprise reached out to many prospective women suppliers at the 7th annual Women's Business Enterprise National Council's (WBENC) conference and trade fair, held in Miami Beach, Florida June 26-29, 2006.
More than 2,500 attendees representing 300+ companies across the country attended this year's event, for which Limited Brands served as the corporate sponsor and leading trade fair exhibitor.
The cross functional team from Limited Brands shared ideas, networked with potential clients as well as educated suppliers about our brands, businesses and Supplier Diversity Program. At Limited Brands' trade booth, conference attendees were given the opportunity to meet one of our WBE suppliers, Tara Abraham of Accel inc., the creative expert behind the design and assembly of our fabulous gift sets. Attendees received a Bath & Body Works gift set and a small hooded stuffed PINK toy dog that they could take home with them.

Representatives from Limited Brands Supplier Diversity Council and others will also be attending the 2006 National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) Conference and Business Opportunity Fair scheduled for October 29 - November 1 in San Diego, California.
