Rosemont Center in Columbus receives an outdoor playground

The children of Rosemont can now play on monkey bars, climb an oversize caterpillar created out of recycled tires and receive counseling in a nice, serene environment thanks to about 300 Limited Brands associates. While working through rain and even thunderstorms, in less than a week, a team of Limited Brands associates constructed a 120 ft. x 160 ft. outdoor playground equipped with swings, a slide, monkey bars and a recycled car tire caterpillar at the Rosemont Center in Columbus.

This playground is just one of the most recent projects Limited Brands has partnered with Rosemont to improve their community surroundings. For the last few years, Limited Brands' associates from its Limited Logistics Services division have volunteered their time and talent on a number of projects that include painting, landscaping, mulching and organizing a library for Rosemont. Every other month, this team of associates commit their time and manpower to volunteer at Rosemont.

"Our associates enjoy giving back to the community by volunteering here at Rosemont," said Nick LaHowchic, Executive Vice President & Chief Executive Officer, Limited Logistic Services. "It's a great feeling to see the improvement and results made after the completion of a project."

"We feel very lucky to have this partnership with Limited Brands where they send associates to volunteer every other month and assist us on various projects," said Debbie Huff, Director of Special Events and Volunteers, Rosemont Center. "And this latest playground project is a wish come true not only for our children but also our counselors."
