Limited Brands is a proud sponsor of 2012 ACAP-Ohio
August 27, 2012

On June 17-22, 42 minority high school students from across Ohio gathered at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business to attend the 17th annual Accounting Careers Awareness Program (ACAP-Ohio). Started in 1996, ACAP-Ohio is a career exploration program that exposes outstanding minority high school students to the CPA profession through educational workshops and corporate tours, and establishes mentoring relationships between students and minority CPAs.
Students sent handwritten letters to Limited Brands as a gesture of their appreciation:
“Thank you so much for helping provide for the ACAP-Ohio 2012 program. This program helped me grow and prosper and it changed my life forever… I met so many inspiring people who I will never ever forget. This program helped me find a potential mentor and a price can’t be put on that. Thank you again so much.” – Sarah A.
“This camp was my first experience with accounting and I loved every part of it. Accounting is now definitely a career choice I would be happy with. Again, I want to say how much I appreciate your sponsorship for this program because a whole class of students’ futures are much brighter.” – Jan E.
Limited Brands is proud to contribute to the success of the program and wishes each student all the best in their bright future.
